My previous post got blocked apparently for it being perceived that I asked for medical advice despite explicitly stating that I wasn't. So let me try again, wording it a different way to see if it can somehow be ok. The scenario: I have a failed dental implant (doesn't matter how/why this occured, please don't give advice so that this post doesn't get blocked). I have the option of continuing to pursue the implant that I've already sunk several thousand dollars into and could potentially cost an unknown thousands of dollars more and still fail (or could be successful), or I could pay to have it removed and get a bridge put in which I assume will cost a few thousand dollars. I'm looking for input regarding the cost/benefit analsis of this decision. I am in NO WAY looking for medical advice. Is it worth pursuing a project that could potentially cost thousands of dollars with I assume a more than 50% chance of failure, or is it better to cut losses and go for a cheaper option that I am sure i won't be as happy with if the more expensive option were to work out? Help me math it out, because I'm having trouble doing so.
