My company is changing 401k from Vanguard to Empower.
I will be rolling my 401k over to my IRA.
I still have a few good Vanguard funds with Empower but some of these funds really surprise me. The Expense Ratio is what, I'm most surprise with.
I did have all of Vanguard index funds, we still have Vanguard Target Date funds. I'm going with 100% in American Funds American Balanced R6 RLBGX 0.25 / 0.25.
I know morning star has a lot of these funds listed as gold funds, 4 and 5 stars. Why would anyone paid these Expense Ratio, what I'm I missing?
