Just curious, how many retirees that longed for the set it and forget it 4% rule returns here, have stopped playing the market game by jumping on 4.5% treasury bonds and 5% Cds before they go away, thus beating the 4% rule with ease and just ride the wave out for an easy 10 years, and maybe more ?
This or any other fixed path using Myga's etc would accomplish the above 4% goal.
If not all, what about a decent portion for a set fixed income and anything beyond that invest in the S&P fund or any balanced fund.
