Personal Finance (Not Investing) • iCloud storage vs Dropbox

I am paying $12.99/month for Dropbox and $2.99/month for iCloud which is clearly duplicative! I want to cancel Dropbox but before I do that, is there any reason to reconsider? I am a dedicated Apple user across all devices and have moved all my Dropbox files into iCloud in anticipation of canceling Dropbox. I suppose I’m just nervous to hit Cancel after having Dropbox for over a decade! I only upgraded iCloud storage to the paid model recently so technically I haven’t had duplicative costs until a week or two ago.

When you cancel Dropbox, what happens to all your stored files?
