So after opening a new brokerage account at Vanguard (returning customer) I've seen and heard that Vanguard does not let you move your money out to your authorized bank account for extended period of time (some have stated 60 days, others have said up to one year). It is said this can only be overridden via phone call with each transaction.
I looked at my brokerage agreement and other than very general language about restricting withdrawals for security reasons and when Vanguard otherwise deems necessary, there is nothing even remotely approaching this kind of restriction explicitly stated.
Is anyone aware of this? My online Vanguard linked bank account webpage has a statement that says I can transfer to this account in 7-10 calendar days. Today is day 8 and I was unable to transfer.
