I am just now starting to invest in index fund. I have five account which has my ROTH and Tradition IRA, my husband’s ROTH and Traditional IRA. One join Brokerage account.
The breakdown of our holding is:
His Roth- $600 in VTSAX
His IRA-$7000 in VTSAX
My ROTH- $25000 in VTSAX
My IRA- $8000 in VTSAX
Join Brokerage—$6000 in VTSAX
I read through many post and book about rebalance across multiple account, but is still confuse with how to pull money in between. Since there are tax event in brokerage and traditional IRA.
Currently I am in 100% stock index fund, since the portfolio is small. I am looking at asset allocation of 80% stock and 20% bond after the portfolio has grown in next few year.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
