I used to pay my taxes and estimated taxes and track if the IRS had processed my return by looking to see if they had a transcript, all using my account at IRS.gov.
Alas, I can't create an %$$#@@!^ID,me account as I have no webcam nor smartphone, and as far as I can tell my hopes that local offices could set this up will not happen.
I have seen pointers in here about how to do some of this stuff but have lost track of it. There seemed to be some way to pay, etc. without an ID.me account?
Can someone point me at any of it? Thank you.
