Personal Consumer Issues • Best towns with great schools, weather, outdoor activities

Another "where should I move" thread got me thinking about living in different parts of the US.

I'm looking for a unicorn but figured I'd ask. Top priorities are:

- great weather, warm/hot in the summer, short (if any) winter, lots of sun (I'm not really considering the PNW, Northeast or Midwest)
- top notch public schools
- natural beauty with lots to do outdoors
- small town or city, that's safe and great for families
- close to the ocean and mountains (could settle for a large lake and large hills)

Any suggestions?
