We just got a Lenovo V50a 23.8 inch All in One desktop computer with Windows 11 a few weeks ago. DW likes the looks and simplicity of an All in One and who am I to argue? She uses the computer for a half hour here, a half hour there as it’s just used for personal purposes. Anyway, I have the power management set to shut off the power and the screen after 1 hour, but when it does shut down, the screen has a faint glow to it, which I think is called being backlit. The computer stays on 24/7, so the backlight is on almost 20 hours a day. I can’t figure out how to shut it off, except of course to shut the computer down completely. I looked in Settings for Advanced Options, but couldn’t find an answer there. I searched the Internet, went on Lenovo user forums, and spoke to a Lenovo tech support person (who basically told me to install some useless Lenovo Vantage app that doesn’t address the issue). Our previous Dell All in One, that was hopelessly outdated (slow processor, only 8GB of RAM, mechanical hard drive), did not have the same screen issue.
