I wonder if anyone else here has been in a similar position: I work in a freelance capacity for 2 different employers. (I'm an hourly W-2 employee.) My wife and I are also expecting our first child in the next month or so. Am I eligible to apply for paid family leave from both employers--or just one? I'm in New York State, and I believe the state pays for at least some of my family leave. So if I apply for family leave from both of my employers, will that trigger a red flag with the state?
