Personal Finance (Not Investing) • How can I lower my Federal tax withholding (Pension)?

I'm trying to lower the Federal tax withholding on a pension (because I plan to pay most 2024 taxes from an RMD).

I have Form W-4P (Withholding Certificate for Periodic Pension or Annuity Payments)

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4p.pdf?bc=26701542

The only way I can see to tweak the withholding lower is to either add dependents (I don't have) or claim deductions (I don't have).

Am I missing an option? If my choices are as listed above, is one or the other a better approach?

Thank you,

S
