Personal Investments • 401k question

Hi there,

I'm a very inexperienced investor with a question on a recent transaction within my employer 401k account. I recently moved my funds from one fund to another and received a notification that I just incurred a "realized loss" of $22,000...

Does this mean that I just lost $22,000 from my account? Or is this tax related? I can't seem to find anything on this subject with a google search.
