Is there any difference between them in terms of security?
I went with VTI ETF in my CMA because I liked being able to buy and sell on the spot, and I read they are slightly more tax efficient.
However, recently I was told ETFs are dangerous because you technically dont own a piece of every stock, and its like a trust tied to the lifespan of some random person's grandkids, vs a mutual fund is an actual pool of the stocks.
Is this true? Should I swap out my VTI for VTSAX?
