I am looking to convert my 401k through Wells Fargo into a portfolio that more closely resembles what Paul Merriman recommends with his 2 Funds for Life or his 4 funds.
My issue is, I'm having a hard time figuring out what funds are the best options. First, I love Vanguard obviously, but I am not sure that they are offered through Wells Fargo. Second, I want to make sure I am getting a low expense index fund that isn't simply mirroring the SP500 like VTSAX, but trying to beat it at-least a bit.
I also really would like to focus a larger percent of my portfolio in SCV (35% at minimum) as I have 30 years till retirement and my risk tolerance is not a high concern at this time.
Can someone help me find some good options through Wells Fargo that would meet my goals?
