Last week I had called Fidelity to perform a Roth conversion on an investment which had some pretax dollars. This was a small amount and I was willing to pay the taxes on it
Today I observed that they made a mistake and converted my entire employer match - which is in the order of 300k. I definitely didn’t want that. It will result in a massive taxable event. I haven’t been able to get through to a representative since it is the weekend. Has anybody faced this problem before? Were you able to reverse that transaction?
