Personal Investments • Fidelity: Automatic investment with (intentionally) insufficient funds

I am considering Fidelity and would like to know if an automatic investment order from the settlement fund will go through when there are insufficient funds.

At Vanguard, my recurring automatic investment from the settlement fund is intentionally set a few dollars higher than my recurring deposit. This sweeps up stray interest earned by the settlement fund. Vanguard's system allows this and will just invest what is available. At Schwab, such an order won't go through. Can anyone share what happens at Fidelity?

The deposit comes from my paycheck, which arrives on either Monday or Tuesday depending on holidays. So I like to have automatic investment from the settlement fund on Wednesday. An option to automatically invest 100% of cash (however much that may be) would also work. Thanks.
