Personal Consumer Issues • Eliminating Unnecessary or Junk Mail - The Last Hurdle of AMEX

I have been on a mission to eliminate unnecessary or junk mail. This is because I have been tired of being relentlessly advertised to through every medium of communication (social media, TV, radio, mail, billboards, etc), to prevent my mail from overflowing when traveling or working remotely, & to cut down on waste.

I have opted out of general marketing through dmachoice & optoutprescreen. I have opted out of catalogs and coupon booklets through sites like vericast's site. I have individually reached out to various companies to stop mail communication, cancelling marketing material and diverting real mail to email when possible.

My last hurdle is remaining - AMEX Business Card offers. For the life of me, I cannot get these to stop.
I have several LLCs with a mailing address to my home address. These LLCs constantly receive business card offers. They are chunky promotional packets, and when received en masse, they quickly fill my mailbox.

I have:
- Called AMEX's business customer service line. Each time, they have assured me that they have stopped mailings to these LLCs, which has not occurred. It has been 8+ months since I have started, so there shouldn't be any "sitting" in the mail system, already sent.
- Called AMEX's general customer service line, to cover my bases.
- Stuffed the mailings in my own envelopes and sent them to the return address or AMEX's business inquiries address (both PO boxes), requesting they stop sending.
- Discussed with my mail carrier, who concedes there's not much they can do, as they come presort standard, so there is no mechanism to stop the mail, nor will "return to sender" actually make it back to the sender.
- Considered registered agent services to change the LLC's addresses, but do not want to go through the time, effort, or cost to do so. Nor does this guarantee that AMEX will actually update their database.

I am a happy AMEX customer on the consumer side, but desperately want these to stop. Is there a magic number I should call? Is there an email to escalate to? Is there an unlisted address to send mailings back to?
