A friend of mine who is a financial planner offered some free advice. He recommended instead of VXUS, in which I am currently invested, to invest in IHDG Wisdom Tree International Hedged Quality Dividend Growth Fund (ER 0.58%). He said IHDG has significantly outperformed VXUS over the last 1, 3, and 10 year periods net of expenses. Is this a good fund for new money in place of VXUS?
Also, he believes the Mag7 are over priced in VTI and so he’s recommending RSP Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF for new money instead to give me more access to the smaller companies in the index despite it’s higher ER of 0.2%. What day ye? Thanks!
