I have an upcoming renewal on my AllState Homeowners Policy. The premium due date is Aug 30. I want to equally divide my payment amount across multiple credit cards to optimize my cash flow. So the policy will be fully paid before the premium due date using several credit cards.
However, I am not sure if this will result in them charging me an installment fee. The renewal papers state that "If you do not pay in full, you will be charged an installment fee." Maybe they mean to say if not paid in full by due date, but it is not clear.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
