I've decided to move money out of Primecap which I've been in for many years. I'm going to have my 401 divided between the Vanguard total stock market index and either the international growth fund or total international stock index fund. I've been in growth for many years and recently switched into the international index fund.
Vanguard recommends 20% at least in international but I am only currently 15%. I'm curious what you all think about the growth vs total index?
A lot of investment analysts are predicting a change to better performing international stocks compared to US.
Obviously none of us know for sure.
I just want to be ready if my US fund or funds underperform.
