I have not been a property owner the past five years. Many of my peers have gotten much richer and are way ahead of me as a result. I would like to close the gap and would be curious for ways to best psychologically process the steep opportunity cost of not owning a home the past 5 years and also develop a strategy to "catch up" as a result of getting behind.
