I’m 34 and my wife is 42. Our current investment allocation is:
VTI = 70%
VXUS = 20%
BND = 10%
Or their fidelity/mutual fund equivalent.
Given that we didn’t try to sell anything except to do tax loss harvesting in the last several years I’m trying to decide if I should go to 100% stocks and get rid of the bonds or is this thought just based on recent events and I wouldn’t even be thinking this if I would have been investing in 2008 or 2000.
Obviously at some point I know I need to phase bonds back in if I decide to get rid of them now.
