Today, I received a solicitation from Fisher Investments. It says:
"It takes skill, perseverance and savvy to be counted among the wealthiest Americans. To have out-saved and out-invested your peers speaks to the kind of individual you are. It should also explain the exclusive nature of this communication."
Of course, I have no interest in their services. My question is why would they think the above situation is true? All of my investments are at Vanguard and I do not believe Vanguard would share that info with them. I have not given any net worth or income information to credit card banks nor anyone else. I do my own income taxes with a pencil. The only person who is privy to my finances is my DW.
Are they just guessing because I live in a home worth $375K?
