Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Started a new job that warrants the thought of getting a credit card specifically for work expenses. Which one?

Hey all,

I recently started a new job that gives you the option to pay for certain things yourself and then expense them for a return of your money within a 2 week period. Apparently on average, someone in my position within this company spends about $200-$600 a month on various expenses. I was supposed to get this one job that was very travel oriented, like flying once a week, eating out 4 times a week and hotel 4 times a week so the Chase Sapphire Preferred was what I really wanted, but I fell short of that position, but I might be eligible for it again next year.

As far as the now, is there a specific card that makes sense atleast for the next year? I could still get that travel card, but I dont think ill be able to really take advantage of the rewards of it yet sadly. So I was looking for a card that made sense for the now to spend world related things on to gather points of some sort to sort of "create" my own extra benefit of working this job. I have the option to use the company card on things, but I liked the idea of gaining my own points. Is that a good idea?

By the way, I have enough money in my bank account as a emergency reserve just in case funds dont get reimbursed in a timely matter, but its generally every two weeks so I'm not concerned about it
