I currently have the Vanguard 529 plan which I think is sponsored by Nevada for my 2 beneficiaries.
I live in CA and got a flyer for Scholarshare, saying if I open it I can get a bonus $50. I also saw online that 2023 folks who opened around 5/29 last year got a $100 bonus.
Can I open two accounts with Scholarshare even though I have accounts at Vanguard, collecting bonuses for each of my beneficiaries?
I kind of want to avoid doing a transfer from the Vanguard 529 because this seems to like a complex process to do via snail mail. Also, my funds would be out of the market for a number of days, potentially negating any cash bonuses I might get.
