My son is looking to invest some money to grow for 5-10 years. He doesn’t know much if any about investing. I am recommending a “set and forget” type fund like Vanguard Life Strategy (Moderate or growth). My question is will this type of fund have too many transactions per year to maintain its allocation and therefore not really be optimal in a taxable account?
