I don’t know where else to ask this, but I have a pretty successful side income hustle that simply involves buying season tickets and other single game tickets as well and reselling them for a substantial profit. I am typically able to double whatever my initial ticket inventory cost is. I typically buy about $30k worth of tickets each year and that produces nearly $60k in sales.
My question lies in the conundrum of why the teams don’t like the season ticket holders reselling their tickets. I am rarely blocked by a team, but they almost all say the same thing that they don’t want you reselling more than half or 25% of the tickets etc.
Why do the teams care what is done with the tickets? It’s all the same amount of money to them right? And I’m still filling seats.
