Hi,
We used TD Ameritrade in the past. Whenever an order was executed in TD Ameritrade, we could see Quantity of positions changed immediately with updated % of account for each position. Since moving to Fidelity this year, I could not find this feature any more. Whenever an order was executed, nothing really changed with Account Position interface except a pending Activity column at the bottom. I am trying to show my kids how to trade in their Roth IRA minor accounts and maintain certain stock allocations, such as 70% US, 20% internatioal, 10% bond, so this feature is important to us. They don't have lots of money in their accounts, so I used to teach them trade 1 or 2 shares at one time and check % of account after each trade. Did I miss something or Fidelity does not have this capability? Thanks.
