My wife and I want to give each other an iPad as belated Christmas presents, and we are trying to decide which one to get. We both have iPhones, but want something larger and easier to read when browsing, mainly at home. Money isn't a huge issue but we are both frugal and don't want to pay for more than what we really need.
I've kind of narrowed it down to the iPad Air 5th Generation ($599), iPad 10th Generation ($449), and iPad 9th Generation ($329). My son-in-law highly recommends the iPad mini because the size is easier to "handle". I think I would prefer the larger screen but am open to suggestions.
I also need to decide if we will want Wi-Fi plus Cellular (around $150 more). My initial thought is not to get it since we have Wi-Fi at our house and second home, but perhaps Cellular would be nice to have when traveling?
Finally, is the Apple Store the best place to purchase the devices? I like how they'll copy everything over from your iPhone for you, but perhaps that's not a difficult thing to do yourself?
