Personal Finance (Not Investing) • CitiBank new account referred for closure post funds deposit

Hello, Need some quick help as I am feeling stuck and exploited.

I opened the Citibank account with $300 promotion with an enhanced Direct deposit offer tied to it. I opened the account on 04/09 and then performed the Zelle from my other account (04/10 for $1500 plus in 2 transactions) and confirmed with customer care that I met the conditions.
But today my internet banking was blocked (asking for debit card activation which I never received in 2-3 days) and after I called customer care, they shared that the Back office team has referred the closure of your checking account without sharing any reason. Their customer agent are just like automated bots which just read that the account is referred for closure from the backend and no other info is present. I have spent more than 2 hrs with customer care but they don't have any supervisor who can help which is really disappointing to me. (FYI..during the opening of the account I was on a call with one of the customer care persons just to reassure that everything is good including the offer and it was confirmed multiple times before I got my new account number and welcome email from Citibank).
It seems that now my money is stuck with Citibank and they are saying it will be sent via mail after 60 days. On the internet i don't see any good experiences about returning money by Citibank (I wish I had seen that below opening the account with Citibank) "https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinanc ... and_never/"

Anyone faced a similar issue recently and what is the best and fastest way to get money back?

Note: In my opinion don't stick with this enhanced direct deposit offer as in my case I have got my money stuck as the customer care is completely useless. I will never be back with Citibank again. Just FYI (I have an 800+ credit score and I have been preferred customer for a few banks and this was a shock to me from Citibank)

Note: There is no branch in my home state from CitiBank.
