Personal Investments • Need help funding 2023 SEP

I know our accounts have some inefficiencies and need fixing, but short term I was looking for help funding my SEP (which is due very soon). It will be around 20-25k invested.

Here are our details

Ages: 47 and 45

State: CA

Tax Filing Status: Married filing jointly

Debt: none

Emergency Fund: 1 year

Our Investments:

Taxable
466k in 2040 target fund
295k in 2020 target fund (no idea why I even chose this fund many years ago  )

SEP
451k in 2040 target fund

Our ROTHs
165k in 2040 target fund
130k in 2040 target fund

TSP
641k in 2040 lifecycle
15k in G fund

Total
2.16M

As you can see, I went basically all target funds. When I first started getting into investing I wanted an easy "set it and forget it" strategy. So I just kept dumping all our investments into target funds, which I am now realizing was either a mistake or a huge mistake. Too conservative, bad for tax purposes, etc...I'd like to fix all of our accounts soon (if they are "fixable") but right now I want to be sure to fund my 2023 SEP properly in the next couple days.

Any recommendations? We'd like to semi-retire/coast-retire in about ten years. Our goal is about 10k per month.

Should I go with something like VOO? Or the 3 fund portfolio (VTI, VXUS, and BND)? If so, what percent of each?

Thank you
