I've been using TurboTax for many years and never was prompted to print Form 8453 before. One box on this form is checked (Form 8949 - Sales and Other Dispositions of Capital Assets). Does this mean I have to mail the IRS a copy of the 1099 for my stock sales this year? TurboTax did not provide any instructions when the form was printed so I'm a bit confused. Thanks.
