We just went under contract for purchasing a 30 year old house in North Scottsdale. My realtor suggested a sewer scope as part of the pre purchase inspection. They found 2 bellys, which are dips in the sewer line- one under the house, the other in the front yard.There is standing water at these sites. I’ve spoken with 4 plumbers, 2 want to do another scope and suggested it must be fixed the other 2 said it’s common and only fix if a problem arises. My realtor says it’s such a new inspection he doesn’t know. Should I press for credit prior to closing?
