Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Tax deduction for legal fee related to current employment

Has anyone here took a personal tax deduction for legal fee related to his/her employment? I had incurred a $10K legal expense (unreimbursed) to resolve a matter under my employment contract with my current employer. This has allowed me to continue with my current role.

IRS says " you can deduct legal expenses that are related to doing or keeping your job, such as those you paid to defend yourself against criminal charge arising out of your trade or business".

Mine is not related to any kind of such example. What is your experience or learning from taking a personal tax deduction of legal fees related to employment?
