Hi,
A well disguised IRS application site (app.irs-ein-tax-id.com--poorly rated on BBB) successfully fooled me. I submitted my minor child's SSN and clicked next... In a moment, I realized my mistake and informed them to delete all the information, which they replied that they deleted. I don't trust them. I called the three bureaus and found that none of them have any file for my child. They recommended that I mail them documentation so they can open a new file and keep it frozen. To unfreeze, one has to call them, until the child becomes 18.
Questions:
1. Are there more things I can do? Should I follow-up with ChexSystems? Any other company?
2. I am unsure how none of three bureaus have no info on my daughter when I have added her to my credit card as an authorized user for a while.
2a. Should I use this as an opportunity and inform them about the credit card so the child's credit history starts building?
3. Anything else I should do that I might be missing?
Useful references for future unfortunate-parents:

Thanks!
