Our cat is on a blood thinner. We were ordering his food and med from Chewy. Our vet said she could call it into Walgreens. We cut the pill in 1/4s for the cat.
Chewy charges 4.50 for 30 pills. Walgreens wanted to charge 72.00 for 30 pills! Same drug. Identical name. Back to Chewy.
In theory someone could get their vet to write a prescription for a “cat” and get their human med from Chewy. I am not advocating anyone try this but I was shocked by the price difference!
