Offer 1:
WFH / Temp 6 mo with a potential to go perm (~$100K if so) but currently $45 per hr but could be full time (~$45K for the 6 mo if so) / Benefits through the staffing agency, not yet cleared on how the health insurance look like. / I was only interviewed by the HR person, haven't met the hiring manager yet but still somehow got the offer! / Public company with a well known brand (my first time to work for a public company) / Using a computer system that I have experience with / Senior accounting position / I can still do interviews in other companies since it is from home and hourly / Already said yes and got a laptop to start later this week but then I got the below offer
Offer 2:
Commute 15 miles one way (20-30 min), but I hated the roads / Full time / Perm./ $65K / Mediocre benefits (6 days holidays - 10 PTO after 3 months - and over $1100/mo I would pay as health insurance premium unless I go with an ACA plans) / Nice people / normal accounting position / Antiquated accounting system and from what they said seem a bad one / Still a chance to learn something completely new since it is a new industry to me/ Would be difficult to do interviews especially with no PTO at the beginning / Private company yet stable and in the market for long
I have experience of more than 20 years in my field. Have enough EF. Last job I was making $125K remotely before laid off. Mid 40's so ageism started to be a thing.
Thanks!
