We are still trying to find an alternative to our expensive blanket collections policy for some rings and watches. I looked at Jewelers Mutual and I'm a bit concerned about their "replacement or repair" policy, though they are 1/2 the price of our blanket policy.
I also looked at BriteCo, but have never heard of them aside from some mentions online. Hodinkee is an option for the watches, but not the rings. I also came across Wax insurance online. It looks like they offer jewelry policies underwritten by Chubb but it's all through an app. I'm not entirely sure who handles claims. If Chubb, that would be great. If some online startup you can only communicate with through an app? Not so much.
Anyone have experience with any alternatives to Jewelers Mutual, specifically Wax or BriteCo?
