Personal Consumer Issues • Manufacturers to consider for double-paned windows with at least one laminated pane?

I've become a lighter sleeper as I age, but I still need a good night of sleep. Unfortunately, road noises occasionally gets me, and it has a rather negative effect on my day's productivity.

The windows in our bedroom are Anderson Performance Series, which are probably decent for when they were manufactured (late 80's). Overall, they've held up quite well (probably helped by the presence of storm windows), but I'm not sure if they actually have low-emissivity coatings. Furthermore, I get the distinct sense that I could benefit from at least one laminated pane per window, as to reduce acoustic transmission. As our bedroom just happens to be the room most adjacent to road noises, I may even go with two laminated panes per window.

What brands do fellow forumites use for such applications? I guess I could go with Anderson again, but given that I had a hard time finding options for windows using laminated panes, I'm not sure if this should be the first place to look. Ditto for Marvin, although at least Marvin mentions laminated panes for sound reduction, thought it still doesn't appear to be a standard offering.

Thanks in advance
