My aging dad has a mobile home park that he wants to sell. However, we’re looking for advice on the best way to value it. I’m able to determine what the park itself is worth (price per acre/lot, improvements to lots such as wells and septic tanks, and the # of mobile homes that he actually owns and rents) but I’m not sure how to value the actual business itself (tenants he current has and the net profit that the mobile home park brings in).
