Being a new home owner, there are some minor maintenance and changes I'd like to make.
For plumbing, this include a1) adding shut-off valves to various intakes under the sink and a2) fixing a minor leak on the inside of the house, located between the water meter and where the main water intake enters the house (in unfinished area of the basement).
For electrical, this include b1) properly placement of grounding electrode conductor (current placement not done to code) and then b2) adding a new connection to the side of the house so I can install a Ring floodlight camera.
Would either of the four items mentioned above require a master plumber/ electrician as opposed to a journeyman plumber/ electrician?
As an addendum, what are there certain jobs where it would be prudent for one to hire a master level contractor in lieu of a journeyman level contractor?
So far, all of the plumbers I contacted just happened to be master plumbers, but the electricians include both journeyman electricians (quoting ~$100/hr in my MCOL area) and master electricians (quoting ~$150/hr).
