Hi, I have an IRA account with a bunch of holdings, but one of them I don’t understand. A few years ago I purchased 5,000 units of CUSIP 91282CBF7. I paid ~$5500. I can’t remember why I did this! I think I was talked into it and probably felt like I understood it at the time, but now I don’t remember. Anyway, my other bonds are just “regular” treasuries of various maturities, and I have Series I bonds in my treasury direct account, so this TIP bond is an outlier. Any advice on how to determine if I should just sell it at a small loss (~$170) or wait until it matures in 2031?
Thanks!
Thanks!
