Hi all,
I am looking to take my family (40, 40, 12, 8) to Hawaii for five nights in April 2025. My wife and I have been to Oahu and Maui. My kids have been to Maui. I have Marriott free nights and narrowed it down to the Sheraton Maui in Kaanapali vs. Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach based on the point values and our general preferences. My kids love snorkeling and playing at the beach. We're not big hikers - we might do a 1.5 mile hike one time during our time there. We're open to sightseeing, but for the most part anticipate spending a good amount of time at the beach. We visited before the Lahaina fires so don't have a great sense of what the area is like now. It seems the resorts themselves are business as usual, but running into town to grab dinner or stop by the supermarket may be out of the question... The Residence Inn in Wilea is also in our point range but we aren't as interested in that property because of the distance to the beach.
Thanks in advance!
John
