I created a Login.gov account to create an EFAST account, but I noticed strangely that the Login.gov account has nothing about me except my email address. It didn't ask for my home address, not even my name, no identity verification.
Why is that? I want it to verify my identity so that no one else can make a Login.gov account with my identity.
ETA: It seems that identity verification isn't needed for EFAST through Login.gov, is that right? So my Login.gov account will only trigger identity verification if I use it for another government service which requests it?
