Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Dealing with nonstop Vanguard Consolidated 1099 corrections?

The Consolidated 1099 issued by Vanguard for my brokerage account is about 20 pages. And this year, after originally issuing it an before the April 15th tax deadline they sent out corrected versions SIX times. I prepared by federal return around that time, but did not file it pending some issues with the state return. Since then, Vanguard has corrected it FOUR more times, most currently today.

Is anyone else experiencing this kind of thing?

At least in this last corrected version, it appears to relate to how Vanguard is keeping records for some bond holdings (an in other words, not to to any changes in numbers from an outside party.)

What is the most efficient way to deal with this, once you already have input everything into Turbotax? Should I just delete the existing form and import the new form to replace it? Or should I try to be more surgical in how I approach this. I had already put a lot of time into this, calculating the foreign tax credit and that kind of thing, and am afraid I'll have to start over.

And now I'm afraid that if I work on this, they will just issue a new correction.

Just comparing them to try to find the changes is a lot of work.
