Contributions

New annual Contributions
22.5K his 401k
6.5K his IRA/Roth IRA (We backdoor Roth)
6.5K her IRA/Roth IRA " "
2.5k/mo in his VTSAX
529's - $200 per kid per month

We contributed roughly 100k to our investments in '23, that is while we put in a pool that was approximately 150k, so there is def meat left on the bone to contribute more. We did not get serious with an investment plan until '17 while simultaneously seeing increases in compensation. We also went a little heavier on 529's w/ some bonuses early on in our mid 30's instead of using our other taxable vehicles. Super easy to feel like you are failing reading some of your peers net worth on this forum, but near 1mm before 40yo while in the thick of it with 3 kids and no windfalls, while giving the family great experiences, we feel as if we are succeeding! We don't foresee large expenses in '24 and goal would be to clear 6 figures in deposits next year.

Long-term Goal would be to retire at 60 w/ 3mm-3.5mm

Questions:
1. We will be receiving bonuses in March/April of '24 for approximately 60k, should we pay off some car debt?
2. Based on his 401k options - anything we are missing here? Target date just seems standard based on options & where else we have investments.
3. I have a small amount of RSU's that will vest in April (15k?) - I am thinking about cashing out and starting a car fund to purchase in next 2-3yrs? Thoughts?
4. Anything else stand out?

Thank you all in advance!
