Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Fidelity Retirement Planner Social Security COLA

I noticed that the Fidelity Retirement Planner report is showing the same social security benefit every year. The planner requires that I enter a projected age to begin claiming social security and an estimated monthly benefit amount. The IRE Methodology PDF states "Social Security retirement benefits are adjusted by the application of a COLA increase defined in a federal legislative enactment. The feature assumes increasing future Social Security retirement benefits using the feature’s default inflation rate, which is updated from time to time.".
