Have been thinking about getting a new driveway and from what I am seeing online, the current going rate for asphalt is about $10 per square foot. Does that sound about right? FWIW, we are in a non-rich area of CT. Home value is about 400K if that makes a difference.
Any tips for getting a better deal? I mean, is there a slow season for driveway pavers? We do need to get the old driveway excavated and hauled off. Thanks for any input.
We'll probably sell this place in three or four years but don't want to (only) get a beautiful new driveway for someone else!
