My wife inhereted approximately 16k total (in two mutual funds) from her mother, who passed away on 5/27/23. Her mom was 90 when she passed.
Does my wife need to take out any RMDs for her mother this year (2023)?
We tried calling Vanguard but the wait was hours. We know shouldn't have waited until the the last day of the year...
