Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I've been researching adding mid caps to a hypothetical portfolio and I'm wondering what the best fund is in terms of holdings for diversification. Here is the portfolio:
10% LTT - not completely sure on fund but we can assume VLGSX/VGLT
45% Mid Caps - VO?
27% AVUV
9% AVDV
9% AVES/DGS
If more bonds are desired:
20% VGLT
40% Mid Caps - VO?
24% AVUV
8% AVDV
8% AVES/DGS
To be clear, this isn't my portfolio at the moment. I've just been researching various portfolios for the accumulation period of ones life and noticed this one could perform well given certain personal scenarios and objectives. I think it can pretty seamlessly turn into a retirement portfolio by exchanging most of the equities and LTT for 80% STT (10% MC, 6% AVUV, 4% DGS).
